A North Carolina boy and South Dakota girl who met and have been inseparable every since, except for that October stint from Hurricane Helene. We met and had our first date in September, 2024. Shortly after, Hurricane Helene hit Western NC and Pat had to go to the mountains to help with the National Guard. We both had nerves of not being able to see each other early on, him having to be gone for a month, and wondering if meeting someone new would last. Thankfully we were able to stay in touch throughout, and were able to create a beautiful relationship from then on. Our joy for breweries, dogs, being outside, and enjoying time with our families and friends have been fun to get to enjoy together.

We have gotten to find new hobbies together, include Bean in our activities, create our inside jokes, and continue to build the life we are loving. We can't wait for our marriage and all that is yet to come!
