Aubrey: “I was on a family trip at the time and a friend of mine ‘forced’ me to get on this app and to set up some dates. I had a few dates set up for when I got back from my trip and Logan just so happened to be the first one. While on my trip out of state, I called Logan every night and looked forward to learning more about him. He was so down to earth and not opposed to talking on the phone (had to make sure this guy was really real!). When the time finally came for us to meet in person, I was actually really nervous and my friend Amber was on FaceTime with me the whole ride there. As soon as I had parked, I saw Logan walking down the street towards my car and I started getting super excited, jumped out of the car, and ran up to him and jumped in his arms. (Maybe a little much but I told him I was going to do it but I don’t think he really believed me). After our first date, I ended up canceling the others and deleted hinge almost immediately. Fast forward to the present, Logan and I have already been through so much together and there is no one else I would rather have by my side in this life than him. Through the highs and the lows, we both have grown as individuals and in our love for each other. I am so thankful to God for orchestrating our love story so beautifully and I can’t wait to be Mrs. Clarahan!!”
Logan: “With my career in chiropractic kicking off, and trying to navigate a new state. A buddy of mine and myself had download the app Hinge taking a peek at the dating world. With what felt like a lot going on in my life at the time, it was nice to chat with a few girls that were of like mind when it came to wanting a relationship. But I never felt like I clicked with anyone until I “matched” with Aubrey. After a day or two of messaging back and forth, flirting and me trying to be funny, Aubrey reached out and asked if we could call to chat. This felt different immediately, instead of both of us trying to interpret each other’s text messages we were able to chat on the phone, laugh and get to know each other more before actually meeting for the first time when she came back from her family vacation. When the both of us finally had time to go out on a date, I remember walking out to meet Aubrey and without even saying anything Aubrey gave me a big hug. When I told her the place, we could go for dinner thinking we would go somewhere nice, Aubrey opted for Jimmy Johns instead, not exactly what I had in mind, but I wasn’t complaining because their freaky fast service gave us time to walk, flirt, get to know each other and what we both wanted in life and a relationship. Aubrey’s ideals, values, and personality made me want to improve myself more and become a man she and God favor. After building our relationship more she never left her incredible ideals, values and personality which I love. Not to mention how beautiful she is. The decision to propose and spend the rest of my life with her was natural and easy, knowing the girl of my dreams is someone who challenges me, makes me the man I want to be, is motivated in life, can find joy in the struggles, and never fails to catch my eye.”
We both are incredibly excited to “tie the knot” as they say and to celebrate with friends and family, but we both know that our relationship wouldn’t be where it is if it wasn’t for our faith and mentioning the blessings that God has given us. We believe that life’s little moments brought us together and life’s little moments will continue to build us up. This roller coaster of life continues and soon we get to take the ride together until death do we part.
