Aubry and Thea’s love story began at a Thai restaurant, where Thea arrived a casual one hour and twenty seven minutes late, straight from work in heels and a pencil skirt, looking like a corporate baddie. Aubry quickly forgot all about the wait once she walked in. What followed was a three hour dinner filled with pineapple fried rice, chicken satay, Thai tea, and enough conversation to make the time disappear.

Aubry showed up in a teal fishing shirt, an outfit choice Thea initially found highly questionable. But his charm, cute face, and gentle demeanor quickly proved that not even a teal fishing shirt on a first date could stand in the way of something special.

Since that night, Aubry and Thea have fallen in love over trying new foods, indulging in far too many sweet treats, and tackling little DIY projects together. They love spending time with their friends and their church community, where Aubry plays the drums and Thea serves in kids ministry. Between walks with Aubry’s dog Kevin, frequent trips from Dallas to Houston and Waco to soak up family time, and fall evenings spent by the fire or working on puzzles, they have found joy in the everyday moments that make life together so sweet.
