Q + A

RSVP DEADLINE

Please RSVP by September 8th (see the RSVP tab).

What is the dress code?

FORMAL/BLACK-TIE OPTIONAL - What does that mean? Outfit choices that are slightly less formal than black-tie is acceptable. For men: While a tuxedo is not required, the event is still formal enough for one to be appropriate. Other options include a formal dark suit with a white shirt, and a tie/bow-tie. For women: The choices are the same as with black-tie -- a floor-length or midi gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit! We would love to see your personality shine through - whether it be through fun colors or funky patterns/textures! *Please, if you do not know what black tie is, look it up (See: https://www.brides.com/black-tie-optional-wedding-attire-4800698). Go more fancy than what you would for a normal nice night out! Have fun with it (:

Where should I stay?

Please Reference the "travel tab." We are so excited to offer a room block for discounted room rates to our wedding guests! Please use the indicated link to book.

Are children welcome?

Although we love your children dearly, we regrettably are unable to accommodate children unless they are named on your invitation. We hope this will be a fun date night for you!

Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately, we simply don't have the accommodations for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

When and where is the ceremony taking place?

St. Patrick Catholic Church, Denison Tx. - 2:30 PM. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior.

When and where is the reception taking place?

11045 fm 697, Whitewright, Tx. 75491 - 5:30 PM. Approximately a 30 minute drive from the ceremony site.

There’s a pretty big gap between the ceremony and reception, what I am to do with myself?

Please join the bridal party after the ceremony for a quick celebratory drink right up the road at 1880 Ice House.

Will dinner be provided?

Yes! It wouldn’t be a true Texas wedding without Texmex! Get ready to enjoy all the fajitas and enchiladas you can eat!

What does the venue look like?

The reception will be taking place outdoors. Please feel free to bring your dancing shoes for when the dance floor opens! We expect each and every guest to be out there shaking what their momma gave em! Additionally, Texas weather in October can be unpredictable…we suggest keeping an eye on the weather and packing a light jacket if need be.

Will rideshare be available?

You may be able to order an Uber in advance, but unfortunately no designated rideshare will be provided. We love all of our guests dearly so please have a sober driver designated in advance (we love a sober queen or king!).
