As a freshman at the University of Georgia, I remember seeing a curly-haired boy at every AXO event. He was goofy and cute and danced like he owned the place-- I was intrigued! From asking around, I found out that his name was Drew Miller, and he became my college crush.
While he was my college crush, I didn't talk to him until my junior year. I worked up the courage to say "hi" at a formal-- and the rest is history! Just kidding, ha. According to Drew, he realized that we had many mutual friends, and as most Gen-Z relationships start today, he added me on Snapchat (so romantic!).
Drew and I talked all summer. When I returned to UGA for my senior year and Drew returned for his last semester, he asked me on a date. Shortly after that, he asked me to be his girlfriend.
We started dating in August of 2021, and in January of 2022, we started long distance as Drew moved back to Saint Simons to begin his job. Visiting Drew felt like vacation-- I got to go to the beach and see my boyfriend! This past October, Drew asked me to be his wife. I am so excited that the end of long distance is in sight!
Getting to know and love Drew has been a testament of the Lord's faithfulness and a reminder that His love is meant to be relished in, meant to be enjoyed. That every good and perfect gift is from Him, and that we are called to taste and see that He is good!
We are thankful for our families and friends who have loved us, supported us, and prayed for us in our journey so far. We ask for your continued love, support, and prayer for all the years to come! We are so excited for our future, for the way the Lord has and will continue to provide for us, and for the Joy we have ahead of us. And, we are so excited to celebrate with you in August!
