Q & A

Questions & Answers

How do I RSVP?

Please only RSVP online by using the "RSVP" tab on this website. Due to a limited venue size, we can only accommodate those specifically listed on your invitation envelope.

What date should I RSVP by?

If you are able to RSVP as soon as you receive your invitation, that would be extremely helpful! Once formal invitations are mailed to our guests, the RSVP tab on our website will open and guests will be able to search for their names and respond. We ask that you please RSVP prior to June 1st. After that, unfortunately, any unanswered invites will be marked as "not attending" due to our vendors' cut-off dates.

Is there a dress code?

We'd love to see our friends and family dress up with us! We are requesting garden cocktail attire (semi-formal) for our wedding. We highly encourage floral prints and fun colors! We have included examples of garden cocktail attire below. Please no jeans, t-shirts, Hawaiian shirts, or flip-flops. Our wedding will be indoor/outdoor, weather permitting.

Can I bring my children?

We politely ask that this event remain 18+ with the exception of children who are part of our wedding party. Children invited to the wedding will be listed by name on your RSVP. We encourage parents to use this evening as a "night out" for yourself! That being said, we would love for you to bring your kiddos along to our Saturday after-party at the Weigand family home!

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to the limited venue size, we can only accommodate those specifically listed on your invitation. If you have a plus one they will be indicated on your envelope and RSVP.

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Yes! Our ceremony (weather permitting) will be held outdoors in a lawn area. This will be followed by cocktail hour and an indoor reception.

Am I allowed to take pictures at your ceremony?

Our ceremony will be "unplugged." Please do not take photos or videos during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer who will handle that for us. Please also ensure your phone is silenced for the ceremony. We encourage you to be present with us for this special day!

Where should I park?

There is ample free street parking around our venue as it's located in a neighborhood. You are also welcome to pull up to the venue and drop off guests at the front door before finding a parking spot. Please keep in mind Friday rush hour traffic is likely in the Twin Cities during this time. We recommend giving yourself ample time to find parking prior to the start of the ceremony! If you have mobility concerns or questions please reach out.

What is the easiest way to get to your venue?

Google or Apple Maps will recommend the fastest route.

Where should we stay?

We have room blocks reserved at the Courtyard St. Paul Downtown and The Saint Paul Hotel. Please see additional recommendations under the "Accommodations" tab. You are welcome to stay wherever is most comfortable for you!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

We recommend arriving 25 minutes prior to the ceremony to find parking, get seated, and say hello to friends and family. Please allot extra time to arrive to the venue as our wedding is on a Friday and there is often traffic around the hour of our ceremony.

What color is the wedding party?

The wedding party will be wearing shades of green and navy blue.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you, so get ready to celebrate! We encourage guests to carpool with designated drivers or utilize rideshare services like Lyft or Uber.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Yes, please list them on your RSVP and we will do our best to accommodate any restrictions. Our venue has a wide variety of accommodations including gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, and dairy-free. Please note that all food is prepared in one kitchen. If you have a life threatening allergy there is the possibility of cross-contamination.

What is happening at the Saturday afterparty?

We’re keeping the celebration going! Join us the day after the wedding for a relaxed afterparty at Audra’s parents’ house. It’ll be a casual gathering with drinks, food, and great company. Children are welcome and we look forward to spending more time together before the weekend wraps!

Where are you registered?

The best gift is having you be a part of our special day. For family and friends who have expressed interest, we have created registries from several stores including Amazon, Target, Crate & Barrel, Etsy, and specific cash funds. If you feel inclined to purchase a gift, please visit our "Registry" tab.

Where should we bring or send a wedding gift?

The address will be included at the checkout of your registered item. For the specific address or questions, please reach out to Jarrett or Audra.

What time will your reception end?

We will be partying until 12am!

Could you suggest places to eat, drink, and see while I am in town?

Yes! Please check our "Beyond the Aisle" tab!

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Yes, absolutely! Please tag us and use the hashtag #WalshWedding!

I have more questions about your wedding, who can I contact?
