We met through mutual friends in May of 2021. Audree found out that Austin was a mechanic and owned a corgi of his own. Fortunately, Audree had a headlight out that she had been putting off fixing. Turns out, it wasn’t plugged in all the way and wasn’t actually broken. After Austin fixed the headlight we sorta just never stopped hanging out. We officially started dating on August 1st, 2021. We did the long-distance thing between Omaha and Lincoln for about a year until we decided we had had enough. We moved in together in September of 2022. Austin officially proposed on February 4th, 2023, after a Lincoln Stars hockey game. We couldnt be more excited to celebrate our love with all of our favorite people.
