It is important, if you plan to take a car on the ferry, to book your reservation early!
You can fly to Seattle, rent a car and drive to the ferry, or fly to Seattle, take a taxi or uber to Lake Union in Seattle and then take a seaplane from there to Lopez Island. https://kenmoreair.com/fisherman-bay/
