In 2021, Audrey and Claire met during their first week of college at UT Tyler when a pipe burst in their dorm and they were forced to evacuate. They ended up leaving their rooms at the same time where Claire quickly clung to Audrey. They spent the evacuation period bonding over recruitment week and getting accustomed to life away from home. At the end of the night, they realized they lived across the hall from one another. The next morning, to Claire's happiness, she woke up to a note that had been slipped under her door that had Audrey's contact information on. By the end of the week, they miraculously ended up rushing the same sorority!

The first semester of their freshman year, Audrey and Claire were inseparable. From late night drives, puppy cuddles at their favorite pet store, studying together, and endless laughs, they made so many memories and experienced firsts together that they will forever be thankful for. Audrey and Claire look back on the year they were able to experience college together and are so grateful that God put them at the same place at the same time. They started as best friends and it blossomed into something much more.

On December 5th of that year, Audrey and Claire went to visit Lover's Lookout, a scenic view overlooking miles of East Texas, and Claire asked Audrey to be her girlfriend.

In August of 2022, Claire transferred to The University of Texas at Austin to live out her childhood dream of being a Longhorn while Audrey stayed at UT Tyler to fulfill her dream of becoming a nurse. During this time they endured long distance quickly realizing it was one of their hardest times, but it made their time spent together so much more special.

In May of 2025, Claire and Audrey spent the week in Fredericksburg where they made the promise of forever. On May 13th, they went to Lady Bird Johnson Park where they were surrounded by a quiet pond, a family of ducks, and the prettiest scenery to have a picnic. Audrey and Claire both asked each other to spend the rest of their lives together.

Audrey and Claire's journey together made them realize how fundamental supportive family and friends are. They are so excited to celebrate their love with the people they love and will forever be grateful for everyone in their lives who love and support them.
