Hilton Head Island is completely connected by bike paths. In addition to this, you are also able to bike alongside the beach! 


Bikes are available for rent at one of the many bike rental shops on the island. 
We recommend Island Life Bike Rentals, which will drop your bikes off right at the resort! 


Recommended Bike Trails in HHI 


Sea Pines Bike Trail: this 15 mile route covers many areas of interest including the Sea Pines Plantation Club, Harbour Town, Sea Pines Forest Preserve, and Stoney Baynard Ruins. 


Fish Haul Creek Park : this route offers a shaded trail through forest, wetlands, and marsh


Coligny Beach Park: This park is a favorite amongst locals and travelers, with a wide boardwalk for strolling and shopping! 


Palmetto Dunes Bike Path: Palmetto Dunes has 5 miles of paved bike paths for you to cruise around on! 




Hilton Head Island’s ‘ beach season’ is from April 1st- September 30th each year. 


That being said, we are midwesterners and people will be in the water! Average temperatures during this time of year range from highs of mid 70s to lows in the mid 50s at night. Swim at your own risk :) 


Kayaks, SUPs, pairasailing, jet skis & banana boat rides are all available for rentals at various places on the island
