Q: Where will the wedding ceremony and reception be held?

A: Our ceremony and reception will be held at the Texas Science & Natural History Museum located on the University of Texas at Austin’s campus at 2400 Trinity Street, Austin, Texas 78712. Parking is available on-site at the San Jacinto Parking Garage next door to the museum. The garage has entrances / exits on both San Jacinto and Trinity Streets.

Directions driving Northbound on Interstate-35

· Exit 236 for Dean Keeton St.

· From the N I-35 frontage road, turn left onto E Dean Keeton St.

· Cross Red River St. and turn left onto Robert Dedman Dr. (traffic signal)

· Turn right onto Trinity St. (ONE-WAY SOUTHBOUND)

· The San Jacinto Parking Garage will be on the right, just before the museum.

Directions driving Southbound on Interstate-35

· Exit 236A for Dean Keeton St.

· From the S I-35 frontage road, turn right onto E Dean Keeton St.

Q: Is the museum wheelchair accessible?

A: Yes, the museum has an ADA compliant entrance on the first floor, as well as wheelchair lifts and elevators. If you require additional ADA accommodations, please notify the couple as soon as possible so that we may make arrangements for you.

Q: What’s the dress code for the wedding?

A: Black tie attire is preferred, formal attire is requested. We suggest that gentlemen wear a tuxedo or a suit in any color, and that ladies wear an evening gown, cocktail dress, or pantsuit.

Q: Will you be serving any gluten free, vegan, or vegetarian dinner options? Who should I tell about my food allergies?

A: If you have any food restrictions or allergies, please include that information on your RSVP and we will work with our caterer to accommodate your needs. Vegan and vegetarian meal options will be provided upon request.

Q: Can we bring our children?

A: Although we love your little ones, due to venue restrictions we cannot accommodate children under the age of 16 at our wedding. Thank you for making arrangements, we look forward to celebrating with you!

Q: Where do you recommend I stay? Are there any hotels nearby?

A: The museum is located near downtown Austin, with a variety of hotels nearby. Please see the “travel” tab above for more information on hotels in the area.

Q: Can I bring a plus one?

A: We are at capacity with our venue, which means we are unfortunately unable to accommodate additional guests. Please refer to your invitation for the number of seats reserved for you. If you have any questions, please reach out.

Q: Can we take photos during the ceremony?

A: We’ve hired a professional photography team to help us capture our special day, and we’d love to have photos with no phones or devices in them. Please kindly refrain from using your cameras or smartphones during our wedding ceremony. However, you’re more than welcome to use your phone to take pictures during the cocktail hour and reception!
