In a universe amassed by chaos, TWO FATES have become remarkably intertwined! One, a Ms Audrey Eastwood, hailing from Central Hampstead, New Brunswick, a town of only 35 people. This feisty femme fatale has a thirst for adventure and a keen eye for opportunity. She is deadly with a spatula and merciless with a power saw. She could write a show, build a set and light herself perfectly while blindfolded with an arm tied behind her back. Her unknowing match, a Mr. Nicholas Cox. Proud member of House Cox of Timberlea, guardians of the softball field. The only thing fierier than his demeanour is his hair. The only thing more grandiose than his presence on stage is his presence in life. The only thing more pitiful than his ego is the fact that he is writing this prologue right now. By the cosmic powers of chance, Audrey and Nick found themselves travelling to the distant shores of Wolfville, Nova Scotia. There they would study the mystic theatre arts as a part of the Acadia Theatre Company. But in an absurd twist of fate, the pair would soon find themselves doing the unthinkable...FALLING IN LOVE!
After succumbing to their lovestuckedness, the duo graduated and packed themselves up to move to the big little city of Halifax. Once there, they took in a new roommate by the name of Olive. This six week old puppy would become the couples loyal companion and primary source of pee on their floor. Now two years in to her position with the organization, her role remains unchanged. Nick and Audrey have been passionately creating theatre shows in the city since moving in together in 2015. Their venue of choice is the Bus Stop Theatre, a local performance venue supporting local independent artists. The space has become a second home to the pair and Audrey now serves as it’s venue manager. It was on this very stage that Nicholas asked Audrey the most important question he’d ever asked: “Will you marry me?”. The rest as they say is history. The couple would love for you to share their love for each other, the city in which they live, and the theatre that they call home. Please join them on their greatest adventure: A wedding in beautiful Point Pleasant Park followed by a reception at the Bus Stop Theatre for a night of food, dancing and merriment to the sounds of Fredericton funk aficionados Joyful Noise.
