Sean was born during the stormy California winter of 1996 in Los Angeles to Nicole and Steven Ross, their only child.

Audrey, the youngest of five to Dawn and Rodger Konow, was born during the summer of 1998 in Chicago with her twin, Fallon. Despite their twinship, no one questioned on that day, nor any day after, who the youngest of the family was. Keep an eye out for this stained glass at the wedding ceremony!

Sean and Audrey met in the fall of 2016 at Wesleyan University in Connecticut. They quickly became friends and study buddies, then a groomsman's snowball on a cold Saturday night in February caused an avalanche. This is the first picture taken of the two.

Months flew by and they fell deeper in love. Sean became comfortable living in Audrey's shadow, and they decided to switch roles for Halloween.

They took turns being each other's number one fans at volleyball and hockey games.

After Sean graduated from Wesleyan in 2019, their long distance saga began with Sean visiting Audrey in Chicago. Since Sean's first visit to Chicago in the summer of 2017, when Sean re-learned to ride a bike, they returned to the same spot every year on the lakefront at Northwestern.

The saga continued with a visit to Catalina Island that summer, and many long weekend train rides back and forth from D.C. to Connecticut.

In the summer of 2020, Audrey moved to D.C. to be with Sean (and his roommate-groomsman - they watched too much How I Met Your Mother at Wesleyan). This is the first discovered picture of the two of them without a mask on outdoors since Audrey moved.

After a year together in D.C., Sean started law school in Philadelphia, and Audrey moved to Montana to live with her brother and a pack of wild animals. They drove cross-country together and stopped in South Dakota when Sean fell asleep at the wheel and first learned about worm-fed eggs.

A trip to Montana is never complete without driving Going to the Sun Road. At a delayed Christmas in July, their families met for the first time at Glacier National Park.

Sean couldn't stay in Philly too long, so he made his way to Denver for a summer internship, inspiring the decision to move to Colorado. And in true fashion, Sean introduced Audrey to his dad's favorite band, the Dead.

Once Audrey became a Deadhead (or survived the jams, depending on interpretation), Sean knew she was the one. They got engaged in Chicago, where their closest friends waited patiently at Audrey's sister's apartment for a surprise engagement party.

Thanks to the magical stage-setting by two soon-to-be bridesmaids, Sean proposed in Bunker Hill, the forest preserve by Audrey's old house in Chicago.

Distance made the heart grow fonder. Audrey and Phinny boy said goodbye to Montana and headed across the country to be in Philthadelphia with Sean for his remaining year and a half of school.

Not a soul in Philly would have guessed Sean just re-learned to ride a bike, as he became the most dangerous and frequent cyclist on the Schuykill River path. On their most epic journey, Sean and Audrey biked 50 miles to Valley Forge.

After Sean split his second summer internships in Chicago and Denver and much deliberation about where to start their lives together, the two headed west with their headphones on.
