Ethan and I never really know when to say we first met. If we are getting real technical we’ve known each other since we were kids because of the close friendship of his family and some of my family. However, we never talked to one another, we just knew each other existed. Except all of that changed when we were 18. My two cousins, Alyssa and Lydia plus a little bit of Ethan’s mom had toyed with the idea of us being together because we were the same age (like literally, we are 6 days apart in age.) So my cousins decided this plan to get us together and that was to bring me to Ethan’s grad party. We didn’t say a single word to each other at his party but their plan worked because Ethan thought I was cute and wanted my Snapchat. At first I wasn’t really giving him the time of day over Snapchat which made him sad but he was persistent and asked me for my number instead. He got straight to the point over text and asked me out on a downtown coffee date. That one date turned into many more as about a month later he asked me to be his girlfriend at the drive-in. Fast forward about a year and half later I got invited on a western Caribbean cruise with Ethan’s family in April, we were so excited. Ethan then told me his mom said it would be a cool idea to propose on the trip and I said you know what that is a great idea and secretly wanted him to do so. Little did I know he was actually going to… on May 5th, 2023 in Cozumel, Ethan proposed to me at sunset on one of the looking points on the ship. It was a beautiful moment and we were able to be surrounded by people we love. Ethan and I are perfectly in sync and will continue to be in love for the rest of our lives together. We can’t wait to celebrate our special day with you all!
