Flashback to October 2018 when Anna decided to slide into Audrey’s DMs with a “10/10” as a response to a song Audrey had posted on her Instagram story…3 days later they met and hung out together at their favorite holiday in Wilmington - BEER FEST! After a day of tasting the finest beers NC had to offer, Anna got a little tipsy and ended up kissing one of their guy friends that night and had Audrey questioning if the vibes she thought she was getting from Anna all day were actually NOT vibes, lol. Audrey helped get Anna into a Uber with their friend Miller and then headed home herself.

The next day, Anna asked Miller if she thought Audrey liked her - to her surprise, Miller filled her in on the kiss with their buddy. By the time Anna texted Audrey to see about breakfast, Audrey was long gone to SC. Poor Annie!

Anna was in her 2nd year of pharmacy school when they met, so their first date was half way between Wilmington and Buies Creek…Clinton, NC at a hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. That was it, the rest is history - they’d end up going on dates for 6.5 more years before they tie the knot.

Long distance through school, both graduating, accepting jobs, Audrey’s changing of jobs, moving into the smallest apartment together in Wilmington, rescuing a doodle, building a house and furnishing/designing it together, discussing rings and pulling off double surprise proposals on their June 2024 trip to Ireland, Scotland and London.

Throughout the almost 7 years together they’ve both grown individually; however, they’re a force together. Where one ends the other begins and their continuous love and fierce support of each other’s dreams have brought them to their ultimate dream unfolding.

It’s not been without hard times, tears, lack of support and acknowledgment of their love and relationship by some they hold dear. They’ve chosen to bet on themselves; to be good people, strong women, and now, wives. If you’ve made it this far in their story, you’re someone who has been steadfast in their corner and who has loved them without misstep. They hold you close, and they cherish your love and support.

It’s time to join them in celebrating this next chapter as wives and get ready to party in May 2026 (more to come)!
