Our Love Story

July 23rd 2023 Audrey was in Texas visiting her friend and decided to randomly re download Hinge, the online dating app after months of nothing transpiring in attempted connection. That night Bryan liked a comment on Audrey’s page about her love for tacos. Bryan too had a love for tacos, and immediately we began to talk back and forth from the time we woke up until the time we fell asleep. No days were missed, without anxiously waiting for the notification from one other on our phones. Aware of the distance from Michigan, where Audrey lived to Texas, where Bryan resided, would be the only thing holding us back for a short while.

Almost 3 months of texting, voice texts and FaceTime calls (once Audrey’s anxiety of this being too good to be true), Audrey came back to Texas to “visit a friend” 😉, or so that’s what she told Bryan. While visiting Texas we met for our first date at a mini-golf bar called The Puttery. Nerves were at an ultimate high but we shortly realized we were the same people in person as we were over the phone. Our first date ended up lasting all night and into the early morning just talking, laughing, and having fun. Neither one of us wanted the night to end, but Audrey had to fly back to Michigan the next day.

Right away Bryan began planning a trip to Michigan to visit because he knew we couldn’t go long without seeing and being around each other. Bryan began to take monthly trips to visit Audrey and her amazing daughter in Michigan. Then it was Audrey’s turn to take trips to Texas to meet Bryan’s son, Nolan. On her first trip down to Texas we both knew we didn’t want to do the long distance much longer. But neither of us were brave enough to say it until we were at dinner one night. After sipping down a moscow mule for some courage, Audrey brought up the thoughts of her and Denver moving down to Texas. Those that know Audrey, are aware she is not a stranger to moving across country for a new adventure. So 2 months later Bryan and his son flew up to Michigan to load up the U-Hual and begin their new journey together. Finally settled under one roof we knew this was going to be a lifetime of love and adventure as our families merged.

After months of living in Texas, and Audrey bugging Bryan to no end about when he was going to pop the big question, Bryan FINALLY decided to drop to one knee and ask for forever in Sundance Square on March 1st, 2025.

Here is to the beginning of forever and counting down the days until we get to share our special celebration with our loved ones! ❣️
