Our Wedding

Audrey and Rahul’s story began online in October 2022. Rahul was ready to wine and dine Audrey immediately, but a friend’s wedding (on Audrey’s part!) put their first date on hold for a week. The wait was worth it! For their first date, he wooed her with a fancy dinner, and over delicious food and sparkling conversation, they discovered something truly special. From indulging in foodie adventures and uncovering the city’s best-kept speakeasy secrets, to cozy movie nights and their first trip together, their connection deepened quickly. It wasn’t long before Rahul made it official, and the rest, as they say, is a beautiful love story!

October is peak wedding season in the Gruene &amp; New Braunfels area. Please make your arrangements as soon as possible for the best rates and availability.

There are a variety of Airbnb or VRBO vacation rentals available for the weekend! These are great for groups of 4 people or more. These are located within ~5 min drive from the wedding venue and walkable to Gruene.

The Gruene Mansion Inn is another option for guests - it is the only hotel within Gruene's Historic District. This cozy riverfront inn is in the middle of all Gruene's restaurants and entertainment (no driving required!). The wedding venue is a 2 min drive away! There is no room block for this option.

Things to do

This is our favorite thing to do in New Braunfels! Weather &amp; River Permitting, set aside ~4 hours to float the river on an inner tube. If you'd like to do this - make sure you plan ahead by calling Texas Tubes to ensure they are operating as usual. Wear your swimsuit, hat, and sunscreen and bring your favorite drink along in a reusable (no glass/cans) container for a lazy fun time on the river.

A must-see historical landmark, the Alamo stands as a symbol of Texas liberty. Located nearby in San Antonio, explore the historic mission grounds where the famous Battle of the Alamo took place in 1836. It's a powerful and educational experience for all ages, offering a glimpse into a pivotal moment in American history.

Discover a stunning underground world at Natural Bridge Caverns, the largest known commercial caverns in Texas. About ~30 min drive from Gruene, take a guided tour through incredible limestone formations, or challenge yourselves with adventure tours, a ropes course, and a zip line above ground. It's a fantastic natural wonder!
