In Chinese culture, directly asking for specific gifts is considered impolite, which is why we don’t have a traditional gift registry. Instead, we honor the custom of giving hongbao (红包) or red envelopes. These envelopes, symbolizing good fortune (red) and wealth (gold), are filled with money as a wedding gift, representing good luck, prosperity, and blessings for our future together.

If you wish to honor this tradition, there will be a box at the check-in area to collect red envelopes. Please be sure to write your name on the envelope so we can properly thank you for your generous gift.

We deeply appreciate your support in honoring our culture and traditions.
