We're delighted to have family and friends from near and far coming to our wedding. Here are travel tips to get to South Bend and information on our hotel room block.
Getting to South Bend
South Bend, IN, can be reached by plane in one of two ways:
1. Connecting into South Bend's small airport: SBN
2. Flying into Chicago and driving or training to South Bend
Connecting to South Bend's airport is the smoothest way to get here. SBN boasts flights from many airline hubs, including Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta, Charlotte, Washington, and Dallas.
For those coming from Connecticut or the New York area, we have found that flying Delta from White Plains (HPN) through a connection in Detroit is the easiest and most time-efficient way to come to South Bend. Ticket prices, however, can be hit or miss.
If you cannot fly directly into South Bend, we recommend flying to one of Chicago's two airports (MDW and ORD). From there, you may drive to South Bend which is roughly two hours away. Another option is to take the subway to Millennium Station in downtown Chicago. There, you may connect to a South Shore Line or Amtrak train which will bring you into South Bend.
Hotel
To help you find accommodations, we have reserved a block of hotel rooms for 2 nights from Friday, April 25th to Sunday, April 27th at the DoubleTree by Hilton South Bend. Rates are $159 per night for a one king bedroom (accommodates 2), or $159 per night for a two double beds room (accommodates 4)

The contracted group rate will be honored from Wednesday, April 23rd to Monday, April 28th. If you wish to book a stay longer than the 2 nights from Friday, April 25th to Sunday, April 27th, you may do so by booking your reservation over the phone (the website will only work for Friday to Sunday reservations).
