Aurora and Will met at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in McComb, MS in 2009. Both attended LifeTeen events at the church but did not form a real friendship until the summer of their senior year of high school. The two kept in contact over the years as Will went to the University of Mississippi and Aurora attended Southwest Mississippi Community College. Aurora would travel to Oxford as she planned to transfer to Ole Miss and Will would travel home to McComb to visit family. Between these trips, the two grew closer in their friendship bonding over books, Billy Joel and Jim Croce, the YouTube channel Crash Course, their love for travel, and the 2014 FIFA World Cup. This friendship grew into a relationship that officially started in March 2016. Now, almost nine years later, the two will embark on the ultimate form of friendship, marriage. Will and Aurora share a home in Brandon, MS with their dogs Bennie and Epi.
