Aurora was born in Cedar Rapids Iowa, and moved to Vinton Iowa, where she grew up with her Mother, Rhonda, and two brothers, Zach and James. Later reuniting with her father, Robert, when she was 13, Aurora connected with some of her half siblings and now has 7 brothers and 5 sisters. 

Aurora went to school at Vinton-Shellsburg High School where she took AP classes and worked as a waitress until she obtained her CNA her junior year and began working in healthcare. Later obtaining her EMT, Aurora began volunteering fulltime.

After high school, Aurora went to Hawkeye College where she obtained two associate degrees while debating her long term career choices. Entering the nursing path, Aurora went to the University of Northern Iowa where she obtained a Bachelors in Science while she prepared for nursing school. Obtaining her BSN from Allen College, Aurora began working as a nurse in the critical care unit.

When her father passed away, and her mother moved west of Des Moines, Aurora decided to relocate to Des Moines as well, to be closer to her family and CJ.

Aurora continued working as an RN in the critical care unit, as well as volunteering, as she and CJ moved in together, grew closer, and planned their future.

CJ was born in Conneticut and moved to Des Moines, Iowa where he grew up with his father, Craig, and mother, Micheel. CJ has two younger brothers, and with a family that fosters, CJ now has 5 adopted brothers as well.

After graduating from East High School, CJ attended DMACC for a year before pursuing other career paths.

CJ began working at QuikTrip where he currently drives OTR.
