There are SO MANY THINGS to do in Glendive! 
There are THREE museums in town 
Glendive Dinosaur and Fossil Museum- this museum pertains to more of the biblical history of dinosaurs and Noah’s Ark (not as scientifically accurate but a very nice museum with real fossils, dinosaur bones, and some accurate facts.) 
Frontier Gateway Museum- with a whole pioneer mini village, old carriages, stories, LOTS of antiques and different farming machinery from the early days of invention.
Makoshika State Park- has its very own little museum it has fossils that were found in the park. They also show history of the area and how the formations formed through the mountains. They have a very cute little gift shop featuring things from around the area such as some fossils and agates from the Yellowstone River, little trinkets, shirts, sweatshirts.The park also has lots of trails and you can climb all over the rocks and mountains. There is even camping for anyone who would rather travel with their camper just be weary for where you can have campers and tents. They are strict for camping and have no hookups. Neighbors Helping Neighbors Furniture and More- This is a shop that features dozens of small businesses, local vendors, farmers and artists. We definitely recommend checking them out they have something for everyone, we guarantee you’ll find something. 
Hell Creek Music and More- Of course they have instruments but you really go there for the people and local goods! You will be greeted right away! Don’t you DARE leave without their BBQ sauce! I know what you’re thinking…”WHATTT!? BBQ SAUCE AT A MUSIC STORE!?” Trust us! It’s the best we’ll probably have some at the wedding if you don’t stop to get some!
There’s also a tons of casinos if that’s your thing!
