Our Wedding

Our story is marked by the Lord's prompting and leading both in the beginning and throughout! In the summer of 2024, the Lord brought both of us to serve at family camp together. When Zoe arrived at camp, I instantly noticed the depth of her relationships with the returner girls around her. Her faithfulness to disciple others was on full display, and while praying and observing, we began to spend more and more time together across the first month of camp. On June 14th, 2024, I expressed my desire to pursue her and our first date was the next morning! Across the final two months of camp, we confirmed our relationship, made incredible memories together on time off, and spurred each other on to run hard in our roles at camp. The Lord was ever present to prepare us for dating long distance. Pursuing Zoe Lynn Mekus has been my heart's greatest joy apart from the pursuit of our Creator. We truly have found our best friend, encourager, and supporter in each other. Through much waiting, the Lord has now answered our prayers and it is time for a covenant with Him! His timing is perfect and His grace is sufficient. How sweet it is to invite you, our dearest friends and family, in on God's story of the McKnights!
