We met on a dating app called Upward, and what started as a quick coffee date turned into a 3 hour conversation. Right away, we knew we’d found something special. That summer, Natalea invited Austen to the camp she directs every year, and after a few dates, we realized our schedules were a little crazy, so we decided to wait until the end of summer to “make it official.”

But once Austen got to camp and saw how incredible Natalea was—playful, funny, sassy, thoughtful, and so kind to everyone around her—he couldn’t wait any longer. On July 21, 2024, we officially became a couple, and it’s been an amazing adventure ever since.

After camp and summer, we settled back into our “normal” lives, which meant spending almost every day together. If you ask us what we love most about each other, Austen would say it’s the little things Natalea does that keep him grounded and make every day feel exciting. Natalea would say that Austen has a way of turning the simplest moments into incredible adventures.

Together, we’ve learned that the best adventures are the ones we create with each other. We feel so blessed to have found a partner who makes life feel so full of joy, laughter, and love.

Now, we’re so excited to start the next chapter of our story surrounded by the people who mean the most to us. Join us this summer as we say “I do” in one of our favorite places.
