Long story short, Austin and I met back in 2020 when we both joined the same small group. It's a funny long story though...

Over a year prior, a couple (shoutout to JD and Tina) invited my parents, and a mystery couple, to go to a Wild hockey game. They met, exchanged life stories, laughed, had a great time and went on with their lives. Then about year later, JD and Tina were having a gathering that my parents and the other couple attended. My mom and the other wife got to chatting.

At this time, I had moved back to Minnesota and was experiencing the post-college, no-community blues. Naturally this came up in conversation (I guess). The other wife shared that her church, Bethlehem Baptist North Campus, was about to start up young adult small groups, mentioned that her son was going to be joining one, and that she could get my mom the contact information. My mom gave me the contact information, I emailed the church, and was placed in a group a week or two before the group's started up. That is where Austin and I met!

But, "Why all the back story?" you might ask. Well, for those who did not catch on, the mystery couple was no other than Bob and Julie Barmore!

That summer, when Austin first asked me out and my mom was asking me all the usual questions, we were sitting outside, basking in the sun, when my mom realized who Austin's parents are and that she had unintentionally set me up. We laughed at the fun and humorous ways the Lord works. God is so good!

Austin and I are so excited to stand in front of you all as we make our vows before the Lord. We are extremely blessed to have such an amazing network of support and thank you all for celebrating this momentous occasion with us.
