I have lived on this Earth for 31 years. During this time, God has molded me into the man currently engaged to this fantastic and godly woman. During these three decades, I have lived in three countries and visited others. I have ridden on many forms of transportation, but have only ever served one God. I gave my life to Him when I was 7. God has taught me many things by using many influential people, such as my parents, brothers and sister, close friends, and elders. But then, while away in Southeast Asia, I met this lovely young lass. I bet you can guess who that is. I tried to scare her off as soon as I met her by telling her of my calling to international missions, my calling to plant seeds in Europe, or wherever else God may call me to. I told her what I wanted to do would be a very difficult life to have. You know what? She wasn't scared! In fact it had the opposite effect. Now we're getting married and I couldn't be happier. She has become my best friend. She has this heart that cares for others, that, if I'm honest, reminds me of the caring nature of my own mother and twin sister. God has created for me a wife of outstanding character. Scripture has even said “he who finds a wife has found a good thing.” and I am immensely thankful for this good thing that God has given to me. I cannot wait to travel the world with her, spreading the truth of the gospel, which we both hold so dear.

I grew up loving princesses, especially Cinderella, and their stories and romances. I fell in love with the idea of falling in love and living happily ever after. Well, I have found my happily ever after. God has been so good. He knew that Austin was the one He had planned for me. He taught me what real love looks like compared to fairy tale romance and love. It’s sacrificial and deep. While we’ve been dating and engaged, I’ve gotten glimpses of what marriage looks like when we’ve spent time together, and I can’t wait. I was starting to become content with being single for the rest of my life and realizing that God is my true satisfaction. But then He brought Austin into my life and He has been so good to bring a man who shows me His love. And I can’t wait to see where God takes us on the mission field and how He uses us!
