As far back as anyone can remember, Austin has always loved football games. He goes to the stadium for the love of the game, the electric atmosphere, and of course - UT ladies.
We met at a football game, surrounded by burnt orange spirit and the kind of energy that instantly made strangers feel like old friends. Austin missed the entire game as he got lost in conversation and in Grace's pretty blue eyes.
Not long after, the world shut down during the pandemic and we ended up locked down together. What should have been a difficult season became the start of us. We played lots of games, had so many amazing conversations, and drank far too much wine.
Life expanded when Grace brought home Maisie! We wouldn’t be able to hold her with one arm for long, and she immediately took over our apartment and our hearts.
Along the way, we always make space to never take ourselves too seriously, enjoy the moment, and have fun!
We never stay still for long. Travel, adventure, and discovery are shared passions for us.
The photos say it better than words - when we're together, we're happy :)
Somewhere between pasta, wine, and the magic of Milan, Grace decided she was ready for the next chapter. On the very first night she said it out loud — she was ready to get engaged, even suggesting a quick detour to shop for rings.
Austin agreed… with one simple condition: Venice.
Just a few more days, a little patience, and we’d find the perfect ring together.
What Grace didn’t know was that the ring was already in his pocket — from day one.
Both of us were raised by incredible mothers and grandmothers, women who shaped who we are and what love means to us. To honor them, Austin designed Grace’s ring from stones gathered across the family — pieces carried through generations, now carried into our future.
We got engaged in the kind of place that felt like a scene from a movie, Lake Como (also known as Naboo). It was calm, romantic, and exactly where our forever felt meant to start. Just one perfect moment, one happy yes, and a lifetime waiting on the other side.
To everyone who has been with us on this journey: thank you. We’re surrounded by extraordinary friends and an incredible family, and we never take that for granted. We still cheer for UT football, still come home to Maisie, and still feel unbelievably lucky to have you in our lives: past, present, and all the years ahead.
Thank you for being part of our story. We wouldn’t be us without you.
With love from Grace & Austin
