Our Story

How We Met

We grew up in the same hometown going to the same school our entire life. Fast forward to Shannon’s senior year when her and Austin first started snapchatting. Shannon just graduated high school in June 2015 when she was having friends over to hang out and decided to invite Austin. Austin came over and the rest was history.

July 2, 2015: Shannon and Austin started dating.

October 10, 2015: Homecoming

Shannon and Austin went to his senior year homecoming.

May 21, 2016: Prom

Shannon and Austin went to his senior year prom.

Vacationing in the Thousand Islands

Austin grew up going to the Thousand Islands, NY with his paternal family. His grandparents own a cottage at the Thousand Island Park. When Shannon came with on vacation for the first time, she also fell in love with it. The week is normally filled with jet skiing, swimming, relaxing, and eating Mamaw's yummy homemade food.

January 13, 2020 to March 16, 2020: Long Distance

Shannon was in Florida working at Pop Century at Walt Disney World. During this time, Austin was still going to college at Millersville University.

Mila

On April 1, 2020, Mila was born. She loves to play with her soccer ball outside.

Our 1st vacation alone

On May 8, 2021, Shannon and Austin went to Florida on vacation to visit Shannon’s cousin Erin (MOH). This was Shannon’s first plane ride (not a good experience). We went to the beach, Disney springs, Daytona Beach, and Cocoa Beach.
