Q + A

Sooo, what is the schedule?

The bridal party and family will be headed out to the venue early Friday to take pictures and set up the space. Friends are welcome to join in the festivities Friday evening. There is a fire pit and smores, music, and good vibes are on the agenda. Saturday is the BIG DAY! Saturday morning will be spent having fun, catching up with good friends, wearing out Luna-fish and Beni-boy, and getting ready for the event. Ceremony will take place in the late afternoon/evening, with a hopeful ceremony time of 4:30pm. Dinner will be served around 5:30pm and celebration will carry on throughout the night! The bride and groom would appreciate a team effort clean up Sunday morning and check out is at 11:00am.

If we're staying at the big house should I bring food?

Yes! The only meal that will be provided for you is the dinner on Saturday night, the wedding day. There is two full kitchens available to make meals and store food. There are also one or two small, local restaurants in the area.

What is the dress code?

The bride and groom want you to feel comfortable and beautiful! With that being said it is still a wedding so please dress in semi-formal to formal attire. Dresses, jumpers, slacks, button downs, ties, suits... something along those lines! (please don't wear jeans/cargo pants and a t-shirt)

Since the house is on the lake, are we swimming?

Sure! Friday night or Saturday morning (dependent on the weather) there should be time to have fun and hang out in the lake! You're welcome to bring inflatable paddle boards/kayaks, floaty toys... whatever you heart desires! Please know our dog Luna-fish will be your swimming pal. Don't forget to bring your sunscreen.

Washington weather???

This is an outside event! In Washington state! So please be prepared for anything. Historically, the weather for that weekend trends at 70-75 degrees at a high and 55-50 degrees at a low. Normally there is sunshine, but rain is never off the table. The ceremony will be outside regardless of weather so please bring an umbrella (just in case) and pack accordingly. If the weather decides to be bleh, there are two houses on the rental property where we can eat dinner and party inside.

Can I bring a gift not listed on your registry?

I mean... you could! But the bride and groom have lived together for years and are not in need of any house warming presents. What is listed on the registry is what is preferred by the bride and groom, which is funding fun honeymoon adventures :)

Are your dogs friendly?

Yes! Some would say they suffer from an abundance of love. They are excitable and friendly. Luna-fish is so excited the wedding is on a lake, she is a big swimmer. Beni-boy is a sweetheart and tends to be a bit more nervous than Luna. Both will be assigned a special friend who will watch over them during the wedding day so the bride and groom can enjoy the day without babysitting the puppos. (Beni is spoken for but if you'd like to volunteer to be Luna's special friend please let the bride and groom know).
