Katie's friendship with Donna dates back to Middle School. They went through different phases of life together, but the most memorable phase was when they lived together during college. Donna always kept Katie grounded and present in the moment. They share many wonderful memories with road-trips, nights out, late-night studying, hair-dying, cooking, and starting kitchen fires. Donna will always remain a constant in Katie's life, always picking up right where they left off!

Austin met Julien in college at one of many Denzel Washington movie nights. The two lived together multiple times where Austin learned to be a cleaner roomate (through passive-aggression from Julien). The two have become life long travel buddies and have visited places like Portland, Boston, Denver, and Mexico. Next stop: Hawaii 2023.

Victoria and Katie met during their college years at Michigan State. They resided in the same hall freshman year, only one floor away from each another. Sharing stories during sleepovers gave rise to their sisterhood. They even dipped their toes into campus night life together! Katie always admired Victoria's free-spirit and charisma. Victoria's love of EDM music culture and music festivals fascinated Katie- to which she fell in love too. A decade later, their loving support for one another remains abundant despite the business of life.

Austin met Matt in the fourth grade at the bus stop after moving to the same neighborhood. Matt is the reason Austin loves sports so much. He taught him how to throw a football, play basketball, and the two have competed in tennis together for most of their childhood. In the winter, Matt would visit Austin in shorts where they would go outside to play catch in the snow during half times of Green Bay Packer games.

Julia and Katie met in Chinese class during high school, and they immediately hit it off. Katie has always known Julia to be the kindest, thoughtful, and most loyal friend she's ever had. Through the thick and thin, Julia has always been there for Katie. Julia has even stated she’d take a bullet for her girl! As time moves forward, their friendship remains impenetrable. Katie now considers Julia a certified badass, and she's so lucky to have one of those in her life.

TR is Austin's oldest friend (since the second grade). These two spent many hours playing tennis, recording music, and playing video games - all of which TR was better at. These two lived together their freshman year of college and even joined the table tennis club team. Fun fact: TR is an amazing piano player, but he's even better at making beats.

Alejandra has been Katie's longest friend dating all the back to elementary school. Their friendship truly blossomed when they reached Middle School. She was the first friend to have a sleepover with. They both always shared similar interests that only a handful of others like, such as anime (which is now widely accepted by the norm), manga, YouTube dramas, OTPs, indie/alternative music, and more. Through the hardships they’ve faced together, Katie remains grateful to have Alejandra by her side. She will always be one of Katie’s most treasured friends.

Austin met Dave at college through their mutual interests: playing tennis, pickup basketball, and computer science. Dave is the sole reason Austin has his bachelors degree because he spent too much time tutoring Austin. Fun fact: Dave can dunk and can do a 1 armed pullup!

Maidu and Katie share some wild experiences in their 20's. They first met at a Michigan State club called the Hmong American Student Association. After Maidu graduated college, she frequented Lansing often for work and slept over at Katie's apartment many times. She always used to jump-scare Katie whenever she came home, which she still hates. Many wine nights and nights out later, they become very close friends. Katie always admired Maidu's tasteful, cute style and even adopted some beauty tips from her!

Austin met Nate through tennis and work. Nate is the only person crazy enough to want to play tennis 6 days a week! These two have played in and won many tournaments together. Nate has a phenomenal taste in music and has never played a bad song in his life.

Katie first met Maesee at a house party at Michigan State. Katie fondly remembers how nice Maesee was to her and how she tried to make her feel comfortable around new people. Their friendship bloomed over the course of their time in college, and they even lived together for about 2 years. Maesee was the chef of the household and taught Katie many different recipes which she still uses to this day. They had many pillow-talks and wine nights as roommates. Now, Maesee lives down the street from Katie; the fun hasn't stopped!

Austin met Justin at work where they have spent plenty of time talking about their different life experiences. Justin has completely transformed Austin's golf game from a +20 handicap, to an astounding +18 in only 3 years! Fun fact: these two have watched the worlds most scariest (scientifically proven) movie together.

Austin and Katie consider Taryn to be on of the most charming, adventurous, and reliable friends they have. She is very valued between Austin and Katie. There has never been a dull moment when they all spend time with one another. From dinner nights, game nights, and late-late nights, they both consider her like family now. Austin and Katie will forever be honored to have a friend like Taryn marry the both of them!
