<p>Madeline grew up in Glendora, CA and Austin grew up in Beaverton, OR. Madeline went to undergrad at University of Oregon and Austin attended Cal Poly Pomona. The two spent their college years in each other's home states, how did they meet? The airport? Cassidy and Jackson, high school sweethearts, best friends of Madeline's and Jackson, brother of Austin knew that these two needed to meet. Madeline would go home often and attend Cal Poly greek life functions with her cousin, Taylor. During a trip home in February 2018 the two encouraged Madeline to introduce herself to Austin at Sigma Chi's Ragecoach. With the help of Taylor, Madeline was able to make this happen. The two met briefly and snapped a quick picture to document this moment of two worlds colliding. Fast forward to November 2018 at the annual Civil War game of the Oregon Ducks versus the Oregon State Beavers when Austin made effort to get to know Madeline better. It wasn't until December 2018 when Madeline returned home for winter break that things would start moving along. Madeline began spending time with the "GOAT" group of friends when she would come home from school. By March 2019, Austin felt it was time to introduce Madeline to his family in La Quinta, CA where Cassidy and Jackson were spending spring break with the Logans. During this trip, Madeline fit right into the Logan Clan. She knew Austin would be her boyfriend by the end of the weekend. So when Lynda Zwebber, long time friend of Roxane, asked "what are you two" when trying to clarify the "talking" phase and "dating" phase, in true Madeline fashion, she said "we are boyfriend and girlfriend". That was news to Austin, but he agreed to it. Since March 2019, Madeline and Austin's relationship has become what is today, loving, loyal and fun! The couple has endured long- distance for the first year of their relationship, family trips, music festivals, becoming auntie and uncle, an abundance of time spent at the Logan's home in La Quinta, travels to be with family for holidays and more. On May 25, 2024 Austin took Madeline back to the spot, right next to the pool in La Quinta, where it all began to ask her to spend the rest of their lives together. They were surrounded by family and friends and began the transition of their lives becoming one this weekend. Austin and Madeline cannot wait to celebrate this chapter of life with friends and family. Their wedding will be the beginning of their chapter as "The Logans" and a closing of their chapter in California as they prepare to move to their future home in Beaverton, OR come Summer 2026.</p>
