Hike the pinnacles at Berea College's Forest during you stay. Trails are open from dawn to dusk and now has a new forest outreach center for visitors. The pinnacles have various beautiful overlooks of the rocks and mountains of Berea with 6 different trails. The East pinnacle is our favorite trail overlooking the big hill area. This trail is the shortest hike about (4.8 miles) with many trail signs and benches for breaks along the way. This is a must see in Berea and has been named the #1 hike in Kentucky.
Stop by Papa Lenos for pizza and a Ale8. This Italian restaurant has great pizza, pastas, soups, salads, sandwiches, wings and burgers. Papa Lenos is also located the next street over from Boone Tavern.

Check out old town Berea's shops at the artisan village and college square with various arts & crafts, clothing boutiques, galleries, handmade jewelry, glass studios, quilting, pottery, fudge and ice cream. These shops are are located near berea college campus and the boone tavern hotel.
Get outside KY offers kayaks, canoes, and E-Bike rentals to get outside and explore.
Explore old town berea with an Electric bike or go kayaking and canoeing at Owsley fork Reservoir or Floyd Branch Reservoir close to the wedding venue.
Anglin falls is a short drive from berea college and boone tavern. This is also one of our favorite hiking spots with a easy walking trail and only a mile hike to a beautiful waterfall.
