Austin and Madison matched on an online dating app the week the Covid 19 pandemic began. Because of the lockdown, they spent most of their time talking on the phone, texting, and on Facetime after an initial conversation that showed how much they had in common. They talked for about 2 months until finally they could meet for an outdoor date in Peru, IL on May 9th, 2020. Austin officially asked Madison to be his girlfriend over milkshakes on that very first date and after months of getting to know each other. They began dating and spent lots of time together in Lakeview at Austin's old Chicago apartment each weekend and exploring the city.

In July 2021, Austin and Madison moved in together into their first apartment in Westmont, officially making Austin a suburbanite.

On October 8th 2022, Austin got down on one knee at a pumpkin patch and asked Madison to marry him. She of course said yes and he surprised her yet again with a lunch at Neat in their town of Westmont with friends and family.

Madison and Austin couldn't be more excited to get married with all their friends and family in attendance on June 22nd, 2024.
