Austin and Ellie first met in Austin, Texas, in September 2021, but this might not have been their first encounter. If you rewind to 2018, they were both living just a few blocks apart in Phoenix, Arizona, for nearly three years without knowing it.

When they finally met, they tried to figure out if their paths had ever crossed before, but nothing seemed to align. Both newcomers to Texas, they quickly discovered that they had moved there on the exact same day.

As they spent more time together, more surprising connections came to light—from shared family acquaintances to Austin’s apartment parking pass being the same number as Ellie’s birthday.
