Austin fell in love with me instantly when he saw me in accounting class. He faked some tutoring help so I would talk to him, and ever since then he hasn't gotten me to stop :)

Saydee was head over heels when she saw me at the Sacred Hoops Basketball camp in Colome, SD in 2016... a few years later and I finally won her over :)

Austin and Saydee had known of each other their whole lives but started talking seriously in May of 2022. In August, when they were both back in Sioux Falls for classes at USF they started to hang out and see where their relationship would go. On October 1, 2022 Austin officially asked Saydee to be his girlfriend while at the Thomas Rhett concert. The following May, Austin had graduated from USF with his degree in Preprofessional Exercise Science and had moved to Miller, SD to spray for the summer. That was the start of the couples long distance relationship. Saydee continued to work in Sioux Falls for an accounting firm and they saw each other on the weekends. In August 2023, Austin moved to Bloomington, MN to start his doctorate in Chiropractic. On October 7, 2023 while home for the weekend, Austin proposed to Saydee while overlooking the White River on his family ranch.
