So many people ask where we met and well we honestly don’t remember! It must have been when we were young because our first date was walking around the fair when we were 12. Shaylee technically wasn’t allowed to just be wandering around with boys so a very fond memory is Shaylee shoving Austin behind a booth to hide him from her dad. The next 6 years consisted of, as Austin says, wearing her down. Once she finally came to her senses she couldn’t go a day without him.

About a year and a half later Austin decided to pop the question. He came up with the elaborate plan to purpose while getting their pictures taken. Everything was going perfectly until he reached down to get the ring box and realized it was stuck in his boot. After some aggressive tugging and Shaylee just standing there trying not to laugh he finally got down on one knee. The night was absolutely perfect!
