Our story began back in college in 2019 during our fall semester. Austin was playing football, and I was playing soccer. With us being college athletes, we had crossed paths on multiple occasions.

Our first interaction included Austin throwing a tennis ball at a wall and almost hitting me in the head. At this point, he was wondering who I was. He found me on social media and we started talking every day. Austin finally asked if I wanted to get dinner with him. Of course, I accepted the offer.

From that point on, we went on many dates, watched each other's sport games, celebrated birthdays, and anniversaries. When we graduated college together, we moved back to our hometowns and did long distance. I accepted a job over in Grand Rapids and moved there to be closer to him preparing to start the next chapter in our lives.

After 3.5 years of dating, Austin proposed on September 1st, 2023 out on Lake Michigan. We are so excited for this next chapter in our journey together.
