Our Wedding

It all began in 2007... What started as a passing glance in the hallway of Bohannon Middle School, had evolved into an unexpected love story.Austin first noticed Geneva standing in line to get into class, pretending to be confused in the hopes of ending up in the same class as her. It turned out he didn’t—but with hallway glances and eye contact, the crush only grew stronger for both of them. Through online chatting on AIM and MySpace, a connection was made and little did they know, those first messages were the start of a forever love story.Over the years, we’ve grown side by side. We've overcome challenges, such as hiding our relationship from our parents throughout highschool to going to different colleges and surviving long distance relationship.As we grew together, we learned to embrace each other’s cultures and values—Austin developed a love for Sinigang (A filipino dish that can be quite sour) and Geneva found joy in celebrating Chinese New Year even if she couldn’t follow every conversation in Cantonese. With every shared tradition and food, it became clear that we were meant to be.Through it all, our love has remained steady and anchored.From late-night talks to big life decisions like raising our spoiled DOG-ghter Kona to Geneva waiting YEARS for Austin to finally become a nurse. Every moment together has made us more confident that we can tackle whatever the next stages of life may bring.Now, after 19 years of love, patience, and occasional disagreements (yes, we have those too!), Austin finally popped the long-awaited question on July 7, 2024 and now we are so excited to take the next step in our story and, surrounded by family and friends who have cheered us on since the beginning to finally THAI THE KNOT!
