South of Tallahassee, near where we met in St. George Island, Apalach has a super special spot in our hearts. We chose it because we love it, but also it's our favorite place in Florida closest to Texas 😂

If you're close enough, drive. It will be nice to have your own vehicle since Ubers are scarce.

You have options as far as where to fly into, Panama City (which flies Southwest Airlines), or Tallahassee. Both are about the same distance, within 10 miles. There's really only one way to get there from the airport, which is by car. It is most likely more affordable and more comfortable to rent a car than try to Uber.

We have a room block at the cutest hotel in Apalach - The Gibson Inn! To get the room block discount, you must call in and tell them it's for the "Zimmerman Tomoser Wedding." If you have any issues, let us know.

There are only a couple of Airbnbs in Apalachicola, but there are a lot more options on VRBO. There are also more hotels on St. George Island, which is about a 15-minute drive from Apalachicola and has a beautiful beach!

No, it's a warehouse wedding 😀Apalachicola is on a river, so though it will feel coastal, there's not a beach access. If you want some beach time, St. George Island is a short drive away and has some gorgeous blue water!
