Our story begins in Newport Beach, where we first crossed paths during a night out with mutual friends. The next morning, Austin sent Haley a DM saying, "I don’t normally do this, but I thought you were extremely beautiful and I’d love to grab breakfast sometime." Unfortunately for Austin, that message went unanswered.

Fast forward three years: fate brought them back together again at a friends party. Haley introduced herself, claiming she was a professional chef (spoiler: she was an executive assistant, but close enough to spark Austin’s interest). A few months later, during Memorial Day weekend in the middle of the COVID pandemic, they hit it off at a beach party Austin hosted. Newport Beach wasn’t exactly following the whole “stay inside” rule, and neither were they— as they were too busy falling for each other. From that weekend on, they were inseparable. Haley didn’t leave Austin’s house for days, and even when she said she’d “go home to grab more clothes,” she somehow ended up at a friend’s place just down the street.

Somewhere along the way, Haley found that original DM Austin had sent her years before. With some detective work through photos and friends testimonies, we pieced together the beginning of our love story. We’re so glad destiny decided to give us another shot. Now, we can’t wait to celebrate the union of our marriage with all of you in Puerto Vallarta this October!
