Our Wedding

We were neighbors, but we didn't actually meet until my car betrayed me and refused to work. We chatted a bit, but I figured that was that. A few days later, my dog decided to make things even more dramatic by barking at him like he was an intruder instead of the nice neighbor he clearly was. While I was trying to calm my four legged chaos, we struck up another conversation, and he casually asked, "Want to grab a bite to eat sometime?" Obviously, I said yes-- because who says no to someone who's survived both a barking dog and a broken car intro? After that, we kept running into each other in the mornings, doing that neighborly head nod and quick chat routine. Eventually, I decided to stop being awkward and asked for his number. The rest is history. Who knew my car and my dog were secret matchmakers?
