Cheridan and Austin met online in 2021 on a Christian dating site. They quickly hit it off and made things official on February 18th of 2022. Austin was finishing his masters degree in Houghton, MI at MTU while Cheridan was studying in Green Bay, WI at UWGB. They got to know eachother through long distance for most the year in 2022, visiting one another often and growing in love over facetime and late phone calls. They spent almost every weekend of the summer together and went on many adventures like visiting Mackinac Island, attending the EAA airshow, Hodag Music Festival, a Brewer's Baseball Game, The Milwaukee Zoo, The Off-Road Races, and they spent a few relaxing weekends at the Yakes cabin between visits home to Oshkosh and Bark River. In the fall of 2022, Austin accepted a job in Appleton, WI at Plexus and the couple patiently counted down the final days of long distance. In December, Austin graduated from MTU and moved to Appleton where he lives now. On February 18th, 2023, on the couple's 1 year anniversary, Austin popped the question and Cheridan said, "YES!" They're now excitedly anticipating their wedding in the spring of 2024 and celebrating their engagement with friends and family.
