Rachel is my oldest sister and someone who I have always looked up to. I could not be more thankful for such an intentional friend, faithful mentor, and built-in adventure buddy all in one since the very beginning of my life. It is only fitting that she stands by my side as my Matron of Honor for one of my greatest adventures.

Hollyn is my older sister and my inspiration for a lot of things in life. As we have gotten older, we have only grown closer. Her godly leadership and friendship in my life has been such a sweet blessing. It truly is an honor to have her next to me as my Matron of Honor on my wedding day.

Katie has been one of my closest friends since second grade. From being in elementary school productions together, to running our first half marathon together, to now being my bridesmaid, Katie has really been there through it all. Most of my favorite and funniest memories involve this wonderful and supportive friend.

Jenna and I awkwardly met before college when we both accidentally mistook each other for someone else. Little did I know at that time that she would later become my running buddy at college and my favorite person to experience musicals with. Jenna is one of the most encouraging and prayerful people I know.

Tori and I lived across the hall from one another and played soccer together our freshman year of college. Lots of evenings spent in deep conversations and watching Friends together on the dorm floor quickly led to this beautiful friendship. Her joy is truly contagious to all around her. Tori and her husband, Landon, deserve a large amount of the credit for the start of Jake and I’s relationship.

Anna and I originally met through mutual friends at college and then became closer as we went on double dates together (and as I became an Ohio State fan). Within just the first hours of getting the opportunity to hang out with Anna individually, I knew she would be a friend for life. She is the most caring and loving person. It is a blessing to know her.

Meg and I became friends in 6th grade art class when she sat next to the awkward, non-artistic girl. Just as Meg helped me to get through that class, her beautiful and selfless character has remained constant through the years. The several vacations spent together and many embarrassing middle/high school stories have resulted in one of the best friendships.

JJ was my first friend at college and someone who unintentionally was the person I spent the most time with freshman year. While keeping me sane while being quarantined together, being consistently in the training room and injured together, and being snowed in together, JJ has never failed to be the best listener and reminder of truth in all situations.

Jon is my older brother and Best Man. Jon and I have been close our whole lives. Whether it was basketball, disc golf, board games, or euchre, we have always competed and wanted to beat each other. He is loyal, caring, and a great friend always.

Isaac is a dear friend and one of my roommates throughout college. The word that comes to mind with Isaac is contagious. His laughter and outgoing personality is contagious. He makes me laugh and is a joy to be around. More so than that though, his love for the Lord is contagious. Always encouraging me, asking what I’m learning, and praying with me.

Trenton has been a buddy of mine for a long time. It has been so cool to see how the Lord has used him since we started hanging out in middle school. Trent is one of the clumsiest and funniest people I’ve ever met. He never fails to cheer me up. I am also so grateful for our conversations when we chat about our lives. I always appreciate his wisdom.

Aaron is also a former roommate of mine from freshman year at Grace College. He is very intentional and conversational. I am always encouraged and edified after talking to him about life. Aaron always makes me laugh and is a joy to spend time with.

Landon and I met in 5th grade and have been so close ever since. Landon and I could talk for hours about sports, life, theology, or whatever random thing is happening. We even had a brief stint as podcasters together. Some of my fondest memories are playing basketball with Landon. He has always been one of my closest friends and someone I will appreciate my whole life.

Konnor and I met in college playing basketball together at Grace. He will always be one of my favorite people to play basketball with ever. A lot of those same traits he exhibits in basketball are how he is as a person. He’s unselfish, humble, and works very hard. I’ve loved growing alongside Konnor over the past few years and can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for him.

Braydin is my future brother-in-law. For the first few months of dating Autumn, he only called me Jack just to tease me. It made me laugh every time. I’ve always appreciated Braydin’s wisdom and his willingness to talk with me about anything. He is goofy but most of all godly. I can't wait to have so many more fun times with Braydin.

Chandler is my other future brother in law. Chandler is very similar to myself in that we could talk sports for hours. I’ve loved tossing the football around with him or playing basketball and just getting his thoughts on all things Boston sports. More importantly than sports, I’ve loved how he is always intentional with asking how Autumn and I are doing. He is a faithful church member and a delight to be around.
