Our story began in March of 2022. Neither of us had much success with previous relationships and weren't sure we could work through the differences we had. We kept trying though. Through trial and error we slowly learned how to show up for one another and be the partner the other deserves. We are no fairytale. This took work but we both knew early on that what we had was special. Was something worth fighting and working for. We have been through tremendous life moments together. Welcoming our first child together in 2023, buying our first home in 2024, learning how to parent teenagers without losing our minds. We've walked together through hardship together. The loss of loved ones, job insecurity, working through our own fears and insecurities. We came out stronger than ever. Our foundation is made of love and mutual respect, built brick by brick through effort, growth, and learning. Letting our guard down and learning how to be ourselves led us to become best friends. The goofiest and most authentic versions of ourselves were able to come out and it is beautiful. He is my anchor and I am his home. God has truly blessed us. Our love story is not perfect, just as we are not perfect. It is however, real and enduring and will last for the rest of our lives.
