<p>We&nbsp;were&nbsp;friends&nbsp;and&nbsp;classmates&nbsp;in&nbsp;middle&nbsp;school,&nbsp;both&nbsp;lost&nbsp;touch&nbsp;from&nbsp;relocation&nbsp;in&nbsp;our&nbsp;youth&nbsp;and&nbsp;reconnected&nbsp;in&nbsp;our&nbsp;30's.&nbsp;A&nbsp;few&nbsp;weeks&nbsp;before&nbsp;moving&nbsp;to&nbsp;Kansas&nbsp;City,&nbsp;Thomas&nbsp;with&nbsp;his&nbsp;daughter&nbsp;Claire&nbsp;staged&nbsp;a&nbsp;hike&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;top&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;WW1&nbsp;Memorial&nbsp;to&nbsp;propose&nbsp;in&nbsp;front&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;city&nbsp;skyline.</p>
