Lime Kiln park in Mequon, WI circa 2013. And to think, all that needed to be exchanged was a simple question from Autumn to Caleb… “ Can I hold that lamb?”. The next 12 years are history. Caleb and Autumn met on the set of a movie called “My Son, My Savior” in summer of 2013. Autumn approached Caleb sitting on a bench holding a lamb that she so dearly wanted to hold at the sweet age of 12. Unbeknownst to both Caleb and Autumn, after filming. Sara, Autumn ‘s mom, moved her family of five up to West Bend from Milwaukee a year later. Caleb and Autumn’s paths crossed again in the summer of 2014 when they found themselves working on a CSA farm in Campbellsport, Wi. From there a friendship blossomed including late night “Psych” marathons, jams sessions, and worship nights. That friendship carried until September of 2022 when the Holy Spirit started to move in Autumn’s heart to open the door of deeper feelings and connection with Caleb. October of 2022 was the start of forever. 2 1/2 years later, they tie the knot.
