As soon as Bella and Autumn met, they hit it off and have been best friends ever since. Bella's strong efforts to get Autumn and Austin together have caused her to be the matchmaker of the relationship. Bella and Autumn do just about everything together, and as Austin's cousin, Bella and Autumn are always enjoying family parties and dinners together.

Alison is Autumn's older sister, the person that Autumn has looked up to since she was born. They are the ultimate best friends since day one and have been through just about everything together. Some of Autumn's favorite memories are their car drives, shopping at $5 Below, and making videos in the room they shared together.

Alyson was Autumn's roommate at UNH for two years, and the friend she never knew she needed. No matter what the situation was, Alyson was the smile across the room that Autumn needed. They share many of the same hobbies and have spent many late nights driving around for all kinds food and sweets (their favorites being Crumbl and Chipotle).

Autumn met Chloe at work in Long Lake, and as soon as they met, she knew she needed her as a friend in her life. Chloe and Autumn and are debatably the craziest girls when they in the same room together, especially when they pair up with Bella. Her and Autumn enjoy spending time off work hanging out having girls nights.

Camryn is Austin's younger cousin and Autumn was "family" with Camryn even before she met Austin. Camryn is adventurous and Autumn enjoys spending time with her in Long Lake. As Camryn is heavily outnumbered by boys in her family, she has Autumn to help balance that out. Autumn has enjoyed getting to watch Camryn turn into the beautiful young girl she is.

Austin met Colton at electrical line work school in Colorado. These two have been the perfect pair since the beginning. Colton's soft spoken presence and Austin's outwardness made two peas in a pod. What one lacked the other made up for. Some of the things they enjoyed were reminiscing, hiking and making future plans.

Colton Barber

With an open seat next to Will at their college orientation, Austin sat next to this long haired kid who, from that point on, would wind up being one of his best friends. Being closer to brothers than friends, competition was the root of their relationship. Guns, hunting and four wheel drive consumed their time together.

Will Duyck

Despite growing up on different sides of the country, with totally different lifestyles, these two met as college roommates and hit it off from then on. These two enjoyed spending time together and going on long road trips. They were always talking and learning from each other and continue to do so.

Ethan and Austin have been best friends all the way from diapers to graduation gowns and are still each other's right hand men. Growing up in Long Lake has its challenges but they managed to do it together. They spent their time hunting and trapping which kept them from causing too much trouble. From Colorado to New York, these two have spent quality time exploring and making memories.

Andrew has been the best soon to be brother in law to Austin and they enjoy each other's companies on family trips or game nights at the Mish's. Andrew is always there to have Austin's back in any argument that Autumn thought she could win. When Austin came into the picture, Andrew was proud to pass on the torch of someone who would always be there for Autumn.

Hikes

One of the best things to do while in the center of the Adirondacks is to enjoy the beauty of the mountains by taking a hike. These are some hikes we would recommend, ranging in difficulty. We would also encourage you to download the free AllTrails app to give you access and insight on other hikes and trails all around Long Lake. Easy: Buttermilk Falls (0.1 mi): Buttermilk Falls is a beautiful waterfall you can go enjoy the views of while having lunch at a picnic table! Coney Mountain (2.1 mi round trip) Buck Mountain (2.4 mi round trip) Medium: Goodnow Mountain (4 mi round trip) Hard:Blue Mountain (4.8 mi round trip) *This was the mountain Austin and Autumn hiked up as a first date* Owl's Head Mountain (6.3 mi round trip)

Family Activities

Hoss's Country Corner Store (Long Lake): If you're in the mood to shop, or want something to remember your time in Long Lake... you NEED to check out Hoss's! The store been around for over 50 years and is a one to remember. The Wild Center (Tupper Lake): This is an interactive nature museum in Tupper Lake. With activities that interest children and adults and beautiful views of the Adirondacks, it's definitely worth the 30 minute trip up. Go along the "Wild Walk" and play in the interactive exhibits for a super fun and action packed day! Adirondack Experience (Blue Mountain Lake): The Adirondack Experience is full of rich history of the ADK's and is full of fun things to look at and take up as much or as little time you are looking to spend there. Right in Blue Mountain Lake, only 10 minutes from Long Lake, it is the perfect excursion for a summer day. W.W. Durant Cruise (Raquette Lake): The Durant offers many different cruises that have been enjoyed by not only us but many family and friends. Everything from brunch to dinner and even sightseeing cruises, the Pohl family will take great care of you. After one of their cruises you'll have great knowledge of Raquette Lake and be stuffed from all the great food they offer.

It's important to enjoy the summer sun and the lake while you're here, so here are some recommendations for rentals to make sure you're doing so! Must Visit Town

Lake Placid The historic 1980 olympic village is a must visit town while in the Adirondack's. You can visit Autumn's favorite place (the hockey rink of course) and see where Team U.S.A made history. As you're walking down Main St. make sure you stop and get some ice cream and catch a view of Mirror Lake. There is no shortage of things to do in Lake Placid and will be a fun day trip for all people.

Restaurants

Top of the Park (Lake Placid):This is a great place to just grab a cocktail and enjoy the views of Lake Placid, but even better is their food. Enjoy a nice meal on their outdoor deck and make sure to try out their chicken wings and have a sangria for Austin and Autumn! The Woodshed on Park (Tupper Lake):This new addition to Tupper is the perfect place for some great food and unique cocktails. The atmosphere and vibe are super unique, you won't regret this stop!
