In order to reserve a room with our wedding block rate, call and request the Kennedy-Sullivan room block when making your reservation. We will be providing a shuttle from the hotel to the venue and a shuttle back to the hotel after the reception. There will be two shuttle times for going and returning. Please refer to the Shuttle Information tab for more specifics.Check in is not until 4pm so if you are coming from out of town and needing to get ready I would advise also getting a room for Saturday night or come already ready.

Hampton Inn & Suites Peru

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Peru

La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Peru Starved Rock State Park

This hotel is the closest to the venue but is higher priced. We were not able to block rooms here and there will not be a shuttle. Check in is not until 4pm so if you are coming from out of town and needing to get ready I would advise also getting a room for Saturday night or come already ready.

There is an Amtrak station in the heart of downtown Princeton that can take you to and from Union Station in Chicago.

Shuttle Information   We will be providing a chartered shuttle from the Hampton Inn (Peru, IL) to the venue before and after the wedding. There is also parking available at the venue, but we wanted to provide you all with a designated driver for the night of fun. If you are not staying the night at a hotel, but still wish to use the shuttle service you may do so by parking at the hotel and jumping on one of the charters at the designated times.   Each shuttle can hold 56 passengers, and once they are full will not be able to accommodate any other guests. All of the hotels are walking distance from each other, so you will be able to access the shuttle no matter which hotel you choose to stay in.   The first shuttle will pick up guests at the Hampton Inn at 2:10pm and arrive at Hornbaker Gardens at 2:45pm.   The second shuttle will pick up guests at the Hampton Inn at 3:15pm and arrive at Hornbaker Gardens at 3:45pm.   The first return shuttle will pick up guests at Hornbaker Gardens at 10:00pm and arrive at the Hampton Inn at 10:30pm.   The second return shuttle will pick up guests at Hornbaker Gardens at 11:00pm and arrive at the Hampton Inn at 11:30pm.   We understand that the arrival time of the first shuttle to Hornbaker Gardens is fairly early. In order to be sure that everyone who needs a ride receives one, please consider taking the first shuttle to the venue. The Garden grounds are free to roam which is a beautiful and scenic way to pass time before taking your seat inside the Great Room.

Things to Do

Little did we know that our story started seventeen years ago when a twelve year old Sean and an eight year old Autumn regularly found themselves at the same baseball complexes, football fields, and backyard bonfires. Sean quickly became best friends with Autumn's older brother, Jordan, after years of being opponents, teammates, and classmates. Autumn, oftentimes, found herself as the younger sister who was brought along to all the events the older siblings were involved in. As is the case in childhood, our social lives and social circles were determined by our schedules. It did not take long for our families to draw closer to one another as games and practices always turned into backyard barbecues and late nights full of s'mores and laughter. As each of us grew into our own, we had a funny way of maintaining a distant friendship. Sean and the older siblings paved the way through middle and high school at Bednarcik and Oswego East. Autumn, her friends, and the rest of the younger siblings would follow in their footsteps, making their own mark on both places. By the time high school ended for Sean and the "bigs", as they are affectionately called by their mothers, the friend group shared holidays together in addition to their usual gatherings. As kids grew into young adults and college decisions were made by all, the group spent less time together which made those get-togethers even more meaningful for us. We began looking forward to these opportunities to catch up and reconnect as we grew from kids into adults with similar dreams, goals, visions, and values. Neither of us expected it but both of us secretly hoped that the stars and our lives would align. In the Summer of 2022 they did, and the two of us haven't looked back since. As we have merged our lives together over the last two years, our favorite places (Aurora, Princeton, Wheaton, Chicago, Boulder City, and Las Vegas) haven't changed and neither have their favorite people (family and friends). Since our engagement on May 20th of 2022, we have been blessed with a life full of love and bliss as we prepare for our big day and the start of our forever. We are grateful for friends that are like family and for friends that become family. The two of us couldn't be more thankful for all of you, the people who have made us who we are today. We are excited to celebrate with you all in July and for the rest of our lives! -Sean &amp; Autumn
