Can I Bring a Plus One?
Due to the intimate size of our venue, we’re unable to offer plus ones to all guests. If you’ve been invited with a guest, their name will be included on your invitation. Please reach out with any questions! Thank you for understanding!
Can I Bring My Kids?
We’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only event for guests 16 and older, with the exception of children in the bridal party. With lively music, dancing, and plenty of toasts ;), we are keeping the celebration for adults. Invitations will list the names of those invited.
Will the Wedding Be Indoors or Outdoors?
Our wedding will have a mix of indoor and outdoor events. The ceremony will be held outdoors, followed by a cocktail hour that flows between indoor and outdoor spaces. The reception will take place indoors, with outdoor lawn games available for those who want to enjoy the fresh air.
Can I Take Pictures?
We are having an “unplugged ceremony“ (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say “I DO”! We have hired professionals to capture this moment, so there is no need for phones or cameras to block the photographer or accidentally appear in the photos. And yes, mother of the bride, that means you too!
We promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them.
Once the ceremony is over, feel free to snap all the photos and videos you want! Just be sure you’re not blocking the professionals. #awardwinninglove
What Time Should I Arrive?
Plan to arrive 15–30 minutes before the ceremony starts so you have time to enjoy our pre-ceremony open bar & find your seat and get settled. If you arrive early, there will be a waiting space where you can spend time with friends and family. If you’re running late, we ask that you wait at the back until an appropriate moment to be seated. We’re excited to celebrate with you!
How Should I Plan My Transportation?
There is parking available for all vehicles at the venue. If you plan on enjoying the open bar, we recommend arranging transportation in advance. The venue HIGHLY recommends pre-booking your Ubers or other rides TO and FROM the wedding ahead of time. Since Bastrop is a small town, you may not be guaranteed a ride if you try to book during the event.
What Do I Wear?
For the Ladies
We’re going for a formal, garden-party vibe! Think soft pastels, floral prints, and elegant long dresses. Bright spring colors are encouraged, just kindly avoid solid white. Floral patterns with a white base are perfectly fine. Please skip solid black or very dark tones, since everyone will be in photos and we’re aiming for a light, airy palette.
Shoes: The ceremony is on grass, so stilettos will sink. Opt for wedges, block heels, or any sturdy heel that won’t poke into the lawn. Comfort is key!
Here’s a Pinterest board for the girlies who overthink and need inspo😉

For the Gentleman
Formal/ Semi Formal
Suits or tuxedos are the move—timeless and classy. A black jacket and pants with a white shirt is totally fine, but please avoid head-to-toe black or anything overly dark. Skip the jeans and casual hats; we want everyone looking sharp and photo-ready for our garden celebration.
