Before we even met, we had both been praying that God would open the door for love in His perfect timing. We were both surprised that God answered our prayers so quickly and introduced us to each other at our church’s small group.

We both arrived early to our small group’s putt-putt outing and were amazed by how much we had in common as we talked while waiting for everyone else to arrive. We had never said "Me too!" as much as we did in that conversation. It was pretty obvious there was something special between us. From there, we started enjoying each other’s company in community with our friends through shared game nights (Catan!), meals, and going to church. No matter what we were doing, we were always laughing together.

Even the mundane things in life, like grocery shopping, all of a sudden seemed so life-giving once we were doing them together! It didn’t take too long before we started dating. It was clear that God’s hand was in everything between us from the very beginning.

Since then, we have been enjoying the adventure of falling in love and doing life together—from trips to the zoo and hiking with llamas to beach trips and painting at a Highland cow farm, there is never a shortage of fun and joy. We are so grateful for the love God has blessed us with, and we can’t wait for you all to share in that blessing at our wedding.
